Get to know the leaders of Restoration Church.
Jae and Christina Smith
Christina and I were appointed Lead Pastors in December of 2016. At that time we were known as Impact Church. In the summer of 2019, God put a burden on my heart like I have never experienced before about the direction of the church. So in September of that year, we relaunched the church under the name Restoration Church. God was calling us to be a place that cared about the hurting, restored those who had been broken by sin, and then release them into their God-given purpose.
I’ve lived in Greenville most of my life and I love this city. My wife comes from a “journeying” family. She has lived in Greenville longer than any other place, so she is officially a “Greenvillian” now as well. It is our goal to simply love people well and to share the truth of the gospel in a real, raw, and relevant way.
I have had the opportunity to grow up and serve here at Restoration Church since I was a young girl. I started out in the youth group, became a student leader, student worship leader, and in 2016 God gave me the incredible opportunity to step into the role of Worship Pastor.
My heart beats for worship and the idea that God invites us into His presence. I am so thankful that I have the chance to lead people into His presence and to teach people what it means to make a place for Him. I don’t look at worship as something we do, it is who we are and what we are created to do.
Bruce and Kim Davis
Children’s Church Pastors
Kim and I have been Children’s Church pastors at Restoration Church and it is a great love of our life. We have over 10 years of experience in ministry to children between the ages of 3 and 12. It is our goal that we show the children God’s endless love in a way that they can understand and come to accept.
Jeremy and Chastity Smith
Student Ministry Pastor and Nursery Director
Jeremy: I have lived in Greenville most of my life. I was first called into ministry at 16 and then again at 18 years old. I have served in so many different types and styles of ministry over the last 13 years. By far, this is my favorite season of ministry that I’ve experienced. Last year I felt God calling me to take the next step in my calling and so I received my Exhorter’s License through the Church of God and am the student pastor. It is my goal to see God’s develop a real relationship with Jesus that transcends religion and causes them to engage with God in real relationship.
Chasity: I have lived in Greenville my entire life. If I could give Greenville a word, it would be ‘home.’ My family is here, my memories are here, and I’m so glad that God has allowed me to stay planted here as well. I started directing our nursery ministry about 2 years ago and it has been so refreshing for me. It is a highlight of my week to see those beautiful smiling faces and to be able to share God’s love with them.
